Grupo Modelo recognizes the value of waiters' during the coronavirus stay at home order

Quintana Roo, Mexico - Grupo Modelo announced that they have expanded their digital platform "Academia de Meseros Modelo" to help support more than 4,000 unemployed waiters in Mexico. This move comes after the Mexican government declared a health emergency and ordered suspension of non-essential activities including closing bars and restaurants and declaring that beer brewing a non-essential activity during the coronavirus.

Grupo Modelo -  owned by global beer giant Anheuser-Busch InBev, is Mexico's largest brewing exporter serving over 180 countries. Their main brand is Corona, other brands are Victoria, Pacifico, Modelo, Estella Jalisco and Leon.

This platform will share beer knowledge and give benefits to the waiters during these next adverse weeks ahead.
