Perfect spot to unwind and relax. Tim provided everything he promised and answered a thousand of my first-time-to-Mexico questions. Abdiel, his on-site facilitator was excellent. The building itself is 4-star... but the private pools and spectacular views of the Carribean and the lagoon make the experience 5-star-plus. It’s on the quiet end of the Hotel Zone, but if you’re looking to party, it’s a $1 bus ride or $10 cab ride (negotiate first) to the ferry ports and the main nightclubs. This is not a Las Vegas-type experience where you can walk the main drag. What it is is the perfect spot to relax and live like a millionaire for a few days. Sidenotes: Cancun and Isla Mujeres were great. The people were warm and friendly. The humidity is steamy so be ready to sweat a bit. And I had zero language issues... my broken Spanish and most folks’ broken English made communication pretty simple. Ignoring the fact that I’d like to keep this magical place all to myself, I can’t recommend Tim’s place any more highly. Book it.

Truly an amazing property

This is truly an amazing property with 360 degree views like no other place I have stayed in Cancun. The two pools have job dropping views and were kept very nicely. Tim and the on site manager Abdiel were more than accommodating and friendly. At first I was worried about the drive to downtown but it is an easy 10 min cab ride. Both restaurants across the street were delicious and authentic. I would highly recommend this property.
An Amazing Condo with Spectacular Views
I was blown away when I first walked into this property. The floor to ceiling windows allow for spectacular views of both the ocean and bay. The mid floor offers a great kitchen area with room to relax. Watching the sunrise in the well appointed master bedroom was amazing. The master bath was large and very spacious. The pool was unbelievable. Having a penthouse pool all to yourselves was awesome The upper level was by far the most amazing vantage point. You have a 360 view off all Cancun. We spent every morning watching the waters, getting sun and hanging out in the splash pool. The lower level was hardly used but a great 2nd bedroom and large bathroom if needed. Working with Tim and Francis was so easy. Tim's emails are very informative and really allow you to take advantage of all that Cancun has to offer. We utilized both the USA Transfer and Snorkeling with Mike. Snorkeling with Mike was the highlight of our vacation. I would highly recommend Mike. Over the course of our snorkeling day, we swam at 4 different reefs, swam with a shark, had the most amazing lunch of mackerel and lobster, toured Isla Mujeres on a golf cart, had a few cerveza's, did a little shopping and saw a turtle refuge. Mike and Oscar are amazing!!!! The resort is well appointed, We did not utilize the all-inclusive aspect and actually never used the resort pool. We were very happy with our private pools!! The beach was very clean and the water very blue. The resort is truly making an effort to upgrade in hopes of becoming 5 star. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. I would highly recommend this condo. Easily a 5 Star rating!

One of a kind Penthouse in Cancun!!

My wife and I recently spent our honeymoon at the Penthouse #2000 and we can't say enough good things about this condo! I don't think you can find another place that has 2 private pools and views like the ones this condo has. Tim was always prompt with questions I had leading up to our stay and made the booking very easy. Once we arrived Tim's property manager Francis took control from there. She is a true asset to the condo. Francis made sure everything went smooth. She is also a very good cook and we recommend having her cook for your party. We had drinks on the upper pool deck while we had a private meal cooked for us. It was truly awesome!! The condo has everything we needed if we wanted to cook or go out. The restaurants across the street are perfect and very convenient. Navios has a perfect table setting on the water. We would recommend going right before sunset. The condo is also a short cab ride to many more restaurants. The hotel staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants awesome views and relaxing private pools. - visited May 2016

Amazing panoramic views!

The hotel this penthouse tops is a bit dated but clean, nice staff, definitely safe...needs updating, for sure. Beach was clean and not at all crowded, couldn't have been better. The penthouse itself was in good repair, 360 degree views (the roof-top deck was spectacular), 2 pools, nice size bedrooms (beds were on the hard side but, in my experience, that's pretty typical of Mexico) and having a bathroom on each level was handy. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking needs, full size refrigerator, electric stove - quite functional for making your own food. It does have a combo washer and dryer and I did pay attention to the instructions but could never manage to actually get the clothes dry so, while it was likely user error, I wouldn't count on the ability to use it but you shouldn't need to...plenty of towels are provided with the unit. My best tip is to take the bus...often! For 1 USD (less if you get pesos) you can ride virtually anywhere in Cancun you'd want to go - quick and safe, no cab needed.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!

My husband and I just finished a 5 day stay in this incredible penthouse. There is NOTHING like it! Tim and his manager, Francis, has been incredibly professional in managing our booking and check-in and Francis makes every effort to ensure your comfort. This penthouse offers the best of both: incredible views of the ocean, with the luxury of not one, but TWO pools. Really something spectacular. NOT TO BE MISSED! I will highly recommend this apartment to others.

Awesome

This penthouse was absoultely amazing. There is a private elevator that functions as your front door, truely feel like a rockstar. The views are ridiculously unbelieveable. The place was really clean, and the rooms were nice. The 2 private pools were awesome (this was not necessarily the case with the hotels pools). The owner Tim Millar was great to communicate with before we left, and once we arrived the staff was very friendly. I would def reccommend calling Mical (Mike) he has alot of information, and is very helpful. He seems genuinely interested in making sure our vacation was the best, and getting us the best deal. His snorkeling trip was a great experience. We purchased the all-inclusive at the hotel, the food was very disappointing, but the drinks and service made up for it. One of the nights we hired the private cook to come to the penthouse, I would def reccommend this option. Francais and her sister were so nice and friendly and made us gormet mexican food. It was not expensive and definately worth it. I would not suggest this place if you have small children because of the spiral staircase thru-out the penthouse, but everyone else would be silly not to take advantage of the great deals Tim has to offer, this is 100x better than being trapped in a hotel room. The rooftop penthouse is the only way to go. - Visited October 2010

Peaceful, relaxing and just awesome!!!

The penthouse is breathtaking. The pictures are great, but once you arrive and step out of the elevator, you feel the beauty of it all. It was hot and humid, but the temperature of the unit was quite cold...we actually adjusted it as we were too cold. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the master suite and enjoyed the sunset in the evening from the balcony. Everything was literally as if we were home. Frances and I made a Walmart run, and once I returned, my partner nor I ever left the penthouse. The kitchen had everything we needed. A small barbecue was available. We had ice, two swimming pools, an ipod dock, tv, towels, deck chairs and cooler. The only thing lacking was the functioning of the jets in the upstairs pool. Frances was just awesome. She answered all of our questions, made sure were knew where everything was, how it all worked and reassured us that we could contact her for anything. Tim is an excellent property manager. He too reassured us that we could contact him at anytime, we did and he always made sure to answer all of our tireless questions. Once you confirm your plans, Tim sends a confirmation email with an abundance of helpful information. Read the information. We read it, and it made for a smooth transition into our Home away From Home. - visited July 2013

Awesome spot!

Sew really had a good time here. It is an awesome penthouse! It's a bit of a ways from the party area in cancun but a cab ride fixes that. - visited May 2012

Oh My God What A Trip

Upon arrival to the Bellvue Beach Paradise Resort a friendly bellman and Arturo greeted us. We had opted for the Wal-Mart run before arrival so we had three big boxes of groceries in tow, but the staff said no worries we will bring it all to you ASAP. Arturo escorted us to the condo perched atop the resort. When the door to the elevator slid open only one thought came to mind…we have arrived. Arturo ran through a few features if the condo and before we could set our carry-on luggage (backpacks) down our luggage and groceries were brought in the door. We had forgot to get ice so Arturo vanished and returned promptly to help us get our beverages cold ASAP. He showed us the cell phone, which is free for guests, and as there were no questions he was gone. Buy groceries as if you were at home, however keep in mind there is no oven in the condo, but there is a blender, stove, washer/dryer combo, phone, alarm clock, and an air conditioner on every wall. The air conditioners will be your best friends, as the floor to ceiling windows allow a lot of heat into the condo in the afternoon, but do not worry they are of good quality and can run 24/7. Suggestion: pull the shades down in the morning before the temperature rises. This will help the fight on your side of the windows. But raise them at night and early morning so you can enjoy the view. Walking up the spiral staircase to the third floor of the condo I thought they may be a problem, but the stairs proved to be no obstacle at all. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking. It truly is 360 degrees of unobstructed Cancun. When you see it you will agree that only one word describes it…AMAZING. There ARE actually two private pools, which are both quite nice. Even though the pool on the roof is only 2.5 feet deep it has a refreshing coolness to it regardless of the time of day. The pool on the second floor of the condo is much warmer, but still is not too warm. Just a suggestion, take a glass of wine to the second floor pool for an evening swim…we enjoyed that thoroughly. Other than one dining suggestion I would just allow the staff downstairs at guest services direct you based on your preferences for food. They really know their stuff and most often can give you a coupon for your first round of drinks or a free appetizer to most restaurants. Ask for Astrid Garcia, she is simply the best. And don’t worry about the fact that you are not technically staying in the hotel; the staff treats you like family. One suggestion, we ate at JC Captains (literally across the street) the first night and found it to be a great first meal in Cancun. The conch ceviche was unbelievable. I ordered surf and turf as always and would rate it an 8/10. The atmosphere at this particular restaurant is amazing. Dining over the lagoon at 70 degrees…perfect recipe for a great evening. DO NOT GET TURNED OFF BY REVIEWS OF THE RESORT. I read enough bad reviews of the resort I was worried about the trip, but I honestly can’t understand how someone would be dissatisfied with the resort. The staff was attentive and friendly, the pool and beach were clean, and the activities were fun. What more could you ask for? The resort is not the royal sands or whatever, but you are not staying at the royal sands. I will definitely rent this place again on my next trip to Cancun. I describe the trip with two words…no complaints. - visted November 2011
