With Tim's Ocean Condos you have many options when deciding where you and your family are going to eat.
You may choose to eat at our resort's all-inclusive restaurants or explore the culinary fare of the Hotel Zone in Cancun.
However, sometimes you may want to enjoy the comfort of dining at home in private. We offer you and your guests an option to hire our private cook to prepare meals for you inside your condo.
Hiring our private cook
Hiring our private cook will save you time and allows you to not worry about meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning up after your meals. Who wants to do that while on their vacation?
When you hire our cooks, they will take care of everything when it comes to the meal prep for you and the rest of your party. Everything our private cook does will save you a lot of time. Time that can be spent relaxing, or whatever else you like to do on your vacation.
Hiring our in-home private cook to cook for you also allows you to experience Authentic Mexican cuisine enjoyed by the locals, without leaving the comfort of your condo.
Choosing Your Menu
Before your flight to Cancun, you will reserve any date and time that you want to have our cook prepare meals for you. You will then communicate with Tim via email any dietary requirements you may have.
Tim will inquire about the types of foods you would like to have prepared as well as any specific needs of you or members of your family. He will then be able to take your information and make suggestions if you want to try something new. Just imagine sitting down to an amazing meal with your guests on your balcony as the sun is coming up or going down. What a great memory this will make.

Shopping for your food
Once the menu has been planned, we shop the freshest Mexican Meat, Chicken and Seafood Markets, and shop the local Farmer Markets for the highest quality locally grown food.
You will then pay for the food and receive the receipts for the everything that was purchased.
We have pictured below several traditional Mexican dishes and a food menu to make your decisions easier.
Cooking the Food
All your meals are then prepared inside your own private kitchen while you enjoy the aroma throughout the condominium. This is a great opportunity to learn some of their cooking tips, tricks and techniques and share a conversation. You might learn some techniques they utilize while preparing your food and take this "souvenir" back home when you prepare food for others.
During the meal your chef is on hand to help you enjoy the meal you have dreamed about.
Your meal is served!
Your in-home meal is served buffet style.
After the buffet table is set up, our cooks will be sure to clean the pots, pans, cutting boards etc. that were used to prepare your meal.
How to book this service
The service starts at $10 US dollars per person plus the cost of your groceries. The minimum service fee to the cooks is $80.
We offer this service directly to you at our cost. Tim's Ocean Condos does not profit from this service. Please pay the cook directly with United States dollars at the time of their arrival on your meal date. If you are satisfied with their service please consider a tip.
Remember that the cook has already:
- taken a bus to the grocery store.
- shopped for your ingredients.
- taken a bus to the penthouse.
- delivered the groceries up to the penthouse.
- prepared the meal.
- set up the buffet.
- cleaned all the dishes used to prepare the meal.
