Cancun Travel Advisory notice issued in Quintana Roo February 2026

Current Cancun Travel Advisory Level Remains Unchanged

Importantly, the Cancun Travel Advisory level for Quintana Roo remains at Level 2.

This designation has been unchanged since August 12, 2025.

Level 2 advises travelers to exercise increased caution. However, it does not recommend canceling travel.

Therefore, no escalation to Level 3 or Level 4 has occurred.

Although security operations are ongoing in parts of Mexico, the advisory classification for Quintana Roo has not been raised.

According to the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Mexico, travelers should stay alert and informed.

Meanwhile, Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa of Quintana Roo reports that tourism activity in Cancun continues.

As a result, guests planning a stay at our vacation rentals in Cancun should focus on verified government sources.

Furthermore, normal precautions are still considered appropriate under Level 2 guidance.

Travel to beachfront areas like Tim's Ocean Condos has not been restricted by the advisory level.

Nevertheless, awareness is always encouraged.

Before your departure official embassy channels should be reviewed for updates.

In addition, local Cancun government announcements should be reviewed regularly.

For guests staying in our vacation rentals, preparation brings peace of mind.

And when staying at Tim's Ocean Condos, updated communication is always provided if conditions change.

As of February 23, 2026, the Cancun Travel Advisory remains at Level 2. No escalation has occurred. Visitors should exercise increased caution and follow official U.S. Embassy and Quintana Roo government updates.
