I am addicted to this Cancun Mexican Bakery named Bon Pane. It is completely insane.

Abdiel introduced me to this bakery in the fall of 2021. I had never experienced such an enticing bakery aroma right from the parking lot.

I highly recommend visiting this bakery when you have some spare time. Plan to dedicate around 3 hours of your day to drive there, enjoy shopping while savoring coffee or ice cream, and then return to Tim's Ocean Condos. This makes for a wonderful option, especially if you encounter a rainy day during your Cancun vacation.
Pastel Da Vinci
They call it "Pastel Da Vinci" or Da Vinci Pie, and it truly embodies a masterpiece!
It comprises a vanilla and chocolate cake, they filled it with creme cheese and flan then soaked it in a coffee liqueur. After that it is covered with chocolate and the final touch is the chocolate sprinkles.
Pair it with chilled wine, champagne, and roses, and you are all ready to go!
Tres Leches Cake
My first love is the delicious taste of this Mexican chocolate bread dipped in tres leches and then stuffed with strawberries and pure cream.
My mouth is watering just describing it. This cake is so moist you can see the chocolate sweating out of the cake.
Oh, my goodness, I cannot wait to go back to Cancun just to eat cake.
Any way in the fall of 2021 we celebrated many Birthdays. Almost all of our cleaning ladies birthday's are in one month. So, we ate over 12 cakes from this bakery.
Another great birthday cake in Cancun is called Mazapán
A vanilla cake soaked in tres leches and then stuffed with cream cheese and then covered in marzipan.
Marzipan is like a fondant mixture of finely ground up almonds with sugar and then mixed with corn syrup and egg whites. This heavy duty frosting helps the cake keep its moisture inside of the cake.
And then for the chocolate lover
The four-chocolate birthday cake is simply irresistible. The delicious flavor of chocolate bread coated with rum and then filled with white chocolate, dark chocolate and milk chocolate mousse. Oh my goodness!
What about chocalate with strawberries
Chocolate cake, dipped in tres leches then filled with neapolitan flan and walnut pieces finished with strawberries on top. This is called Tres Leches Neapolitan and was about $350 pesos.
I mean seriously look at the tres leches dripping out of that cake.
