Deep sea fishing, also called offshore fishing, requires waters over a hundred feet deep. Boats venture to open sea for bigger catches.

Different methods like trolling, bottom fishing, chumming, and popping are employed to catch various fish types.

Wondering what fish you can catch in Mexico? Here's a list and the best months for each species.

- Amberjack: Best in Jan, Feb, Nov, Dec.
- Barracuda: Year-round, best in Jan, Feb, Oct, Nov, Dec.
- Blue Marlin: Mar to Sep, best in May, Aug, Jun, Jul.
- White Marlin: Mar, best in Apr, May, Jun, Jul.
- Mahi Mahi: Apr to Aug, best in May to Jul.
- Sailfish: Best in Mar, Apr, May, Jun.
- Snapper: Year-round, best in Oct, Nov, Dec.
- Bonito: Apr to Sep, chances in Mar, Oct.

All the fishing gear, bait and life jackets needed.

Round trip transportation.

Cost: $75 per person.  If 6 people or less cost is $450 total.

Please note that unlike the snorkeling tour, the fishing tour does not include lunch.

Typical pick up times from the resort is 7-8am or 8-9am, or 9-10am.  They will call you when they are in the lobby.  One hour time windows for pick up.
